Chicken 1/2 kg or 500gms
Onion 2 medium size (sliced)
Garlic Paste 1 Tablespoon
Ginger Paste 1 Tablespoon
Tomatoes 2 medium (cubed)
Green Chilies 4-5 (sliced)
Coriander for garnishing
Oil 1/2 cup
Salt 1 teaspoon or as required
Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Crushed 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric 1/4 Tablespoon
Coriander Powder 1 Tablespoon
Garam Masala Powder 1 Tablespoon
Yogurt 1/2 cup
Directions
- Place a pot on the wok and let it heat.
- Add oil in it, then add the onions. Fry the onions until golden brown.
- Next add the ginger garlic paste and fry it till the smell of it disappears.
- Put in the tomatoes and cook them until the oil separates and tomatoes are well mashed.
- Now its time to add the chicken. Golden fry the chicken.
- Then add salt, red chili powder, red chili crushed, turmeric, 1/2 tbsp. garam masala powder, 1/2 tbsp. coriander powder and roast them very well.
- At this point add the yogurt in it and let it cook for 15-20 mins on low flame until the chicken is tender and oil separates.
- Then add remaining 1/2 tbsp. of garam masala powder and 1/2 tbsp. of coriander powder. Mix it really well and turn off the flame.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and enjoy with naan or roti.
